Activities, presentations, stalls and information on how to throw a plastic-free kids party!

Date: 21 August

Time: 11-3pm

Venue: St Johns, Leytonstone

Ticket information – this event is free and you do not need to register in advance –  turn up on the day – we look forward to meeting you!

You know plastics straws are out… but what else can you do to make sure your little ones (and not so little ones) can party without hurting the planet. Come and join us for some plastic-free fun, and bring the kids, we’ll have cake, some entertainers and lots of ideas on how to make parties zero waste – we can’t wait!

What you’ll find in St. John’s Churchyard:

  • A forest scavenger hunt and face-painting with Puddles London
  • Tips and information on how to source everything you need for a zero waste party from Party Kit Network
  • Plastic free party bag and party box stalls where you can stock up on zero waste giveaways for the kids!
  • Plastic free party raffle and games
  • Hot and cold drinks and cakes

We’ll also be accompanied on the day by Transition Leytonstone and their new Resilience Hub! Talk to them about how to extend sustainable living into your life and community, including information about their community fridge and garden, green drinks, events and more!

The mini fair is part of the Relief Festival: a series of music, art and wellbeing events taking place across Leytonstone on 21 August #ReliefFestival
